Hi all ,customer called me to check a non runner ,said he needed a diagnostic check. On looking at the vehicle he then told me that someone condemned the pump which he sent for repair/ overhaul. [looks recon]. refitted but no start . the mil flashes after knocking ign on. and dtc's listed are p1613 wrong immobiliser signal and p1614wrong transponder key signal. Its a vp30 pump which was apparently blank when refitted , but i cant understand why i am getting codes for immo if its a blank pump, can anyone explain more on above system .
