Peugeot 307 SW 2.0 HDi Bosch RHY - Sometimes fails to start # Archived Message

No DTCs. Sometimes fails to start .... customer reports that when engine fails to fire-up she will leave the ign turned on for about 30 seconds and then cranks and engine will often start. When it does start it runs as normal all day! Live data when running shows normal Hi-pressures at rail. When it fails to fire even after extended cranking there is NO Hi Press and No speed signal! I suspect a possible intermittent immobiliser problem as when the key is removed and subsequently re-inserted the engine will usually start. (key recognition problem! .. no spare key available to try to eliminate this) Any suggestions as to whether this is likely? (customer is presently on holiday here 90mls from her home)
