Hi quality of the fuel is a big issue here, if the bio is manufactured to the correct standards then and only then is it suitable for use in engines secondly the fuel system is also a major factor, is this system suitable for bio fuel ? if the fuel in incorrectly made it can contain large amounts of water and also bits of old chips etc, in addition to this the amount of wax build up in the filter and fuel tank can be ecssesive. it does not need to be a cold day for this as once the wax if formed it stays formed. if you clean out all the bio fuel, tank filter lines etc and refil with normal diesel it should run fine (if the fuels the fault), and also taking into account that no mechanical damage has been done by the poor fuel, it does not take long for contaminated fuel to destroy a fuel pump!! i've been running my transit on veg oil for 18 months and over 30,000 miles without problems, with better fuel consumption and better performance than on diesel. but i make my fuel to the highest possible standards. hth Tony
