    Rover 75 2.0 CDTi 2003 - Codes P1255 delivery fuel pressure sensor & P1E00 CAN Bus # Archived Message

    Hi All
Have had above car in with following DTC's
Solus Pro P1255 - Delivery Fuel Pressure Sensor
    P1E00 - Can Bus
    ACR4 1255 - Fuel rail Pressure Plausability
1E00 - Can Bus, other ECU.
The car runs perfectly ok and there are no DTC's using EOBD.
I have checked live data and compared with a known good vehicle (manual g/box though)and all seems ok using Solus Pro although only low fuel pressure is given at 3.8 bar. Using ACR4 the high pressure reads about 16,000 kpa (ACR says should be 10-18,000 kpa). I have checked injector leak back which is fine and checked the ecu for water ingress which is bone dry. I have googled the codes and the P1255 code is stated by some people as being pedal correlation? Perhaps this would be the case on a petrol version? This has a fuel pump just before the fuel filter (which has been changed regularly) but I am not sure if it has one in the tank as well. I have ignored this so far because the low fuel pressure seems ok on both scanners. The owner has taken the car back for the weekend and is going to try and get a code read from the dealers on Mon morning. The trouble is that he is going across the channel on tues morning and is obviously worried about having a breakdown (a bit like me when I work on Rovers ).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
    Regards, Bryan.
