I have posted this here so it makes the Diesel archive Came in this morning, customer complained it suddenly lost power on the motorway plus it will not rev, completely flat 2 fault codes present for EGR & AFM I cleared codes and after a minute the AFM code returned, thought this might be a red herring, so did a bit of archive digging and found this post by Tony Sefton and Friends in the Petrol archive, this is because the Diesel forum is only a recent addition http://members5.boardhost.com/ukautotalk4/msg/archive/1155064760.html This was good as Tony mentioned his threw up an AFM fault as well. I took the EGR valve out and the end disc had fallen off and was up in the manifold Thanks lads saved a bit of time, did not have the hassle Tony did  Peter PS: Will try and post a picture and valve and disc |
