Have a few issues with above car , intermittantly from cold starts then dyes,has to be left for a while then it starts ok,runs well on road,no stored codes,vehcile done 100k ,main injection pump replaced due to fuel leak & one injector replaced due to excess leakoff , but vehcile still has same symtoms,when veh fails to start there is low rail pressure,continue to crank & eventually rail press bulds up & it starts runs fine My dylema is this,AUTODATA informs me this vehcile has lift pump in tank which i began to test,found no power to pump with ignition or cranking,no earth to relay from boot fuse board!but also if i hard wire this pump it still dosent work, find it difficult to beleive both failed at same time! also local dealer says never sold one & none in uk! and all that pump does is recover fuel from o/s of tank the most likley cause is lift pump at front of head AUTODATA dont even list this in underbonnet components ,can any body confirm the function of the in tank pump ,bit concerned im being lead in wrong direction by the dealer also has any one experience same symtoms thaks, keith,sorry about long post
