Originally this car was a non-starter but it was trying (smoking from exhaust) the garage removed all 4 injectors and reconnected them out of the head and found no spray pattern from two. Replaced these and checked again to find that now all 4 were not operating. Then I was asked to have a look. Found no fault codes. Fuel pressure when cranking 300bar. Scoped fuel pressure sensor and regulating valve - sensor 0.5 volt key on up to 1.5 cranking. Scoped crank and cam all ok. Trigger voltage for injectors on scope only 6 - 8 volts, pattern looks ok. Autodata shows 12 volts required for these piezo injectors. I have read that these injectors are a real pain, has anyone seen this kind of fault before? Is low voltage the issue? I off on a training course on Friday on delphi but I would welcome some input before then if possible.
