VW Golf 2005 1.9 sdi AQM engine Archived Message Posted by Jim watson on September 23, 2008, 2:58 pm Hi all, this Golf will start and run for maybe 5 or 10 seconds and then stops, othertimes will run ok for ages, it has codes 17946 P1538 Fuel shut off solenoid- N109 open/short to ground.19557 P3101 Motor for intake flap-V157 open/short to ground. 17849 EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve-N18 open/short to ground. 18027 P1619 glow plug heater relay circuit-J52 open/short to ground and finally 17660 P1252 cold start injector-N108 open/short to ground.Feeding a voltage to fuel shut off solenoid made no difference, still cuts out so I am assuming the throttle plate is closing, the above codes sounded like a relay fault so have renewed the 103 relay in the fascia but still no improvement, any ideas gratefully received please, Jim.
