    Hi everyone,
A bit of a saga, we fitted a turbo 2 months, 2000 miles ago after internal failure, everything was well. Car recovered off motorway been stud at airport one week driven half way home and just cut out after a slight engine hesitation. Code read with texa p0299 and 2408. Autodata list P0299 as turbo low boost and 2408 as additive filler cap. In known problems in autodata they say any turbo pressure fault replace turbo.
On cranking the the engine fires and runs roughly at tick over for a few seconds and cuts out, the dpf has been disconnected as it seemed like an exhaust blockage but there is lots and lots of dark greyish diesel smelling fumes coming out.
Fuel pressure is upto 450bar on cranking, no injector leak off but after stopping the fuel pressure drops straight back to zero, is this correct!
We are trying any suggestions before trying to get to turbo to see if the actuating arm is stuck as it is burried deep behind engine and impossible to get to, in live data the turbo position is showing 100%
Anybody have any experience of these things and would a low pressure turbo fault stop the car actually running.
    Many thanks for any suggestions,

    Graham.
