We have a fuel station next door to us and see a lot of customers putting the wrong fuel in. Had this crv which had been run for 2 miles then a cough then a 'funny' noise and stopped. We usually drain fuel clear lines and fit a new filter and this usually cures. This vehicle will not start so I phoned a mate who works with honda and he tells me that it will have damaged pump, injectors etc and he has done 3 this year at a cost of £4800. Do you think I have been lucky up until now or is this vehicle more prone to failing after being contaminated with petrol.
