Paul, I totally agree with you. Why does this thing have an immobiliser set up in dashboard, mf unit, chip, ecu and the rest. It is not a 30 grand car which local villains want to nick. Gone are the days when you can leg it down to the local scrap yard and just replace the ecu. Update on this one is local garage have bought in some guy with the latest space age technology to get it going. I dont think it will burst into life until all the afore-mentioned parts are replaced. If it was a simple re-program job then vauxhall techie would have done it. Half the dashboard warning lights dont work so it is not as simple as that. Anyway, magic man pitches uptomorrow so we shall see.
