We have got a 2.0 HDi diesel C5 recovered by the AA. It was recovered shortly after filling up at a morrisons garage. It came in with a non-start fault and was diagnosed by the AA as a fuel pump. We have since run our own tests and found out this isnt quite right. We are however a bit stumpped!!
There is plenty of fuel supply to the engine, there is plenty of compression. Spray a bit of easy start in and it will start no problem. Without it will just keep cranking.
We have checked for fault codes and none are present. We have checked for supply to the glow plugs and there is none, this is the only fault we can find however if we manually power up the plugs there is no improvement.
The car will not start regardless of it being hot or cold unless using easystart.
This is where we are now at, can anyone please help?
