    Hi Guys,

Had this vehicle recovered to us on Monday as a non-start,vehicle cut-out on road with customer,we have no communication with the injection ecu via our Bosch KTS,although the K-Line is o.k,we have checked the elctrical side of starting system (ignition relays, lift pump relays ect,all good)we have also checked for power and earths at the ecu,all good,we then went on to remove the fuel tank lift pump for inspection, when we removed the pump we found traces of engine oil in the fuel,we then continued to remove the fuel filter which was also full of engine oil,our problem is....we have spoken to our local Ford and Vw dealerships for advice on a possible cause,Ford maintain that it is not possible the oil to mix with the fuel, but Vw say that it is a common indication that the tandem pump on the cam is starting to or has failed??? I think personally that there could be a injector seal issue on the return circuit, but with no way of carrying out a test on the tandem pump or the injectors locally we are left with a possible expensive problem !Is this something that anyone has seen before? Anyone had communication errors with these vehicles?
    Any ideas would be great
