Like you say, this probably isn't relevant to my fault, but it all adds to the archives hey! Another one to look out for on a none start scenario, coupled with a code for "Cylinder 1 reference sensor" is..... There is (sometimes anyway) a spacer fitted between the CKP sensor on the top of the gearbox bell housing. I have had one were it, lets say, "slipped away" & caused the sensor to interfere with the flywheel. I think Sir Frank Massey wrote a similar story in one of his columns a while back. I don't class my job as a "fix" yet, as I think there is an underlying issue upstream somewhere. Thanks again for the reply.
