hi jeff before you go any further,remove the ecu & check for water ingress. convoys are notorious for this problem, as water leaks through the screen rubber directly onto the ecu. the pats system is also programmed into the ecu on the turbo models, so to bypass it you would have to get the ecu erased and reprogrammed. it is simpler to find the cause of the non-start. is there a blink code displayed if you leave the ignition on for 60 seconds? also check the harness isn't corroded about 15cm from ecu. check pins on pump plug haven't backed off. check green plug at transceiver for poor connections. hth paul
