Citroen Dispatch 2.0 HDi - Serviced but now has poor starting #Archived Message

Afternoon Gents. Got a problem with a Citroen Dispatch 2.0 HDi thats been here for a week now. Serviced the vehicle a couple of weeks ago & since then customer complaining poor starter, did obvious things like re-fit fuel filter etc to no avail. Changed glow plug relay as no power showing to plugs, still no change. Now we have no Glow-plug light on dash, no engine management light & here's the strange bit, the temp gauge flips to max when ign.key turned to on, stays at max for 2/3 secs. drops to min for 2/3 secs then back to max (does this 3 times then dies). Would appear the temp gauge flips up & down about the same time the glow-plugs should be on. Has anyone any ideas, or solutions, would be grateful for any response at-all. Cheers Simon
