Had thought about EGR, what a pig to get at, especially on the 307. Not looking forward to the first head gasket on one of these! The 307 is a bit noisy, induction roar type noise. It does have correct air filter with foam silencer. Not noticed this noise on C5, put it down to better soundproofing but maybe not. Both vehicles are part of our fleet so will come back in when time permits or they become a problem. Will advise outcome in time.
