Year of Manufacture: 2011 Engine Size and Code: 2.0 - CAHA ( Optional ) Scanner Used: VCDS ( Optional) Fault Codes: P2563 Turbocharger boost control position sensor Flashing glow light from cold conditions & eliminates after 5 mins. of running? After several days running the engine management light will illuminate & stay on? No running symptoms with the vehicle! 1 & only fault code in the system is P2563 Turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit implausible signal intermittent?? This turbocharger has a position sensor within the waste gate vacuum diaphragm unit. Have checked for sticking actuator arm as O.K & free & checked for vacuum feed to the waste gate diaphragm as O.K! Have attempted to (with little knowledge) re-adapt the turbocharger control settings under basic settings. Went through it's procedure & pinged up "O.K! successful" Has not changed my symptoms though! Been told that these turbochargers come complete & you cannot obtain a waste gate diaphragm / sensor unit as a separate item as they are pre-set on the assembly. Do i jump of the edge of the cliff & replace the turbocharger? Or is there any other thoughts from you guys as to direction. |
