Hi had this vehicle recovered into us as a non runner, read code P1040 Supply voltage A for injection / wrong adaption. have carried out some checks and found fuel is getting to filter and to high pressure pump but not much getting to fuel rails, took injectors out and had them tested all ok, when pipe from pump to fuel rail undone theres hardly any pressure, belt is in good condition, we have not got much testing equipment for fuel pressure testing,we are thinking pump faulty?any help would be gratefull.
