Year of Manufacture *: 2012
Engine Size and Code *: 2.2 TDCi
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Dec, Iscan II and and old Ford IDS
Fault codes stored and will not clear are -
P224D - Catalyst temp too high during regeneration.
P2463 - DPF pressure sensor circ B range/performance.
P246B - Vehicle conditions incorrect for DPF regeneration.
P246C - DPF restriction forced limited power.
There are no other fault codes stored in any other system to give any clue as to why it won't crank.
I've bridged the starter motor relay and the engine cranks as normal, so not seized!
The only issue I have noted in the engine management live data is that it doesn't appear to see clutch pedal operation. Going into the BCM though, I noted it displays a clutch pedal position form 10 to 85% as the pedal is depressed.
I'm a bit stumped now. It would appear obvious that this must have something to do with the engine cutting out, but I can't make head nor tail of it!
