Hi guys

A jeep Cherokee with Merc 3.0 engine recovered in as non start

Fault cide for cam sensor and glow plugs.

Have a signal on cam sensir using scope.

But have found car will start with intake pipe to turbo off.
Turbo sound freely and no play.

Fuel is ok no contamination.

Relative compression appears ok and starter speed of approx 266rpm

Injectors are being triggered.


My question is does anyone have any suggestions as to why it will start with intake off? I'm e running will continue to run with intake on.

Air filter is ok but tried without anyway.

Also found 2 faulty glow plugs so changed set
But found fault in circuit but can't locate on diagram

Pin 12 blue/white wire on glow plug relay only showing 8v and drops when loaded anyone know where that goes too/from?
