If you take the cover off the throttle body you will find it full of oil covering the motor and potentiometer(you may not want to take it off though as it is difficult to get it all back together).
I believe Mark is right and it is forced through the spindle. It is surprising you do not have throttle body codes. This may not be the solution to your underboost problems. Is the VVT free?
