Hi all
I have Vectra in with a damaged fuel pump and the car is not worth the £500 pounds for a recon pump so I was wondering if the fuel pumps were programed to each car or if they were plug and play jobs.
A few of the breaker yards have fuel pumps which are 0470 504 001 and 002 and 004 but my pump ends with 003 so I wasn't sure if they would fit.
any advice would be appreciated. Don't normally bother with second hand parts as they can be more hassle. but its my father laws car and we just tested it about 2 months ago and he would like it up and going again.
