Year of Manufacture *: 2004 Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 tdci 130hp ( Optional ) ECU Type: delphi ( Optional ) Scanner Used: snap-on verus pro ( Optional) Fault Codes: P2292 - injector control pressure
Looking for a little help on this one chaps ......2004 Jaguar x-type 2.0 tdci, been around the houses & ended up with me. Non start, scanned using snap-on verus pro which returned p2292 - injector control pressure fault, Live data shows 1200inhg (around 40bar) cranking fuel pressure confirmed with high pressure test guage. Injector leak back looks to be reasonable albeit only checked during cranking. It appears I'm losing rail pressure via the return although I'm unable to test the return flow pressure. The question I have is.... On scope testing the inlet metering valve I'm getting a waveform as in the first image with just key on which appears to show a duty cycle (ecu switching IMV), Is this correct ??? the duty cycle does increase upon cranking as in the second image though, Not sure if i'm barking up the wrong tree Any thoughts of corrections most welcome, Andy
