Not the same issue as yours but I fitted an LUK dmf kit to a Peugeot 407 and had a slipping clutch due to the flywheel not being the correct match.

I then fitted a smf kit from the main dealer (owners choice) which was, is fine.

I returned the LUK to the factor for a full refund and was eventually compensated for my labour with credit to the value.

In fairness to the factor they did'nt make a big issue out of paying up.
