by coincidence during a conversation with a local sprinter fleet operator a few days ago , he mentioned that that they where having problems with new sprinters relating to injector trimming issues.

These sprinters are under warranty and sorted by dealer, but understand it was a software update to fix.

Not sure of age or mileage of sprinters but would be much newer than yours, but these are on 60000 + miles per year so could have clocked a few miles.

Sorry I have no details regarding fault codes so may or may not be related to your problem but thought may be worth a mention.
