Seem to be stuck in a "chicken and egg" situation with this one. I can see no injection pulses but when cranking the fuel pressure rises rapidly to 700bar the P1168 code is stored and then fuel pressure decays. I suspect either the fuel pressure is rising out of control due to a problem with the inlet metering valve or because the injectors are faulty and not drawing fuel.
I think I have a very small window to see if injection attempts are made before the system shuts down when the P1168 code is registered.
I now have a seperate fuel supply attached and have run clean fuel through the system.
Any ideas please?
