To test the relief valve just disconnect it and see if there's fuel leaking from it. It shouldn't leak fuel until it reaches very high pressure.
There is also a banjo bolt on the fuel pump that has a filter in it. It's always worth removing it and giving it a clean. If it's dirty it restricts the intake of fuel into the pump which cause same code
