School boy error time.
I locked doors and turned phone off and started again.
On slowing cam and crank trace down and overlaying injector pulse via amps clamp on no1 cylinder(flywheel end) crank signal varied where it signaled sometimes 3 times for 1 cam,the injector pulse gave no relevance to any signal from cam or crank.
I had not really taken any relevance as to extra "tdcs" as i had no cam and crank coherence fault and had checked belt timing previous, so looked beyond this.
Looking more closely this vehicle has recently had a timing belt so I was suspecting the reluctor ring for the crank had been damaged.
I had a crank sensor left over from an engine job in a box, as this was a two minute fit I quickly swopped it, not expecting anything to change..........
The vehicle fired up first flick of the key and runs fine(although the injector seal it originally went to other garage for is still chuffing!!!!
Many thanks for the imput
