Was there ever a fix to this one ? I have one just come in from the Main dealer having had crank and cam sensors replaced now they have told him it needs a pump at £5000+vat
It is cutting out/hessitating on light throttle as the original post.
I have a cam sensor fault that doesnt go away .
Load tests on wiring to ECU proves OK , I cant see any signal fault but dont have a known good cam/crank waveform to compare. So we took off the belt covers and found the belt seriously slack. New belt kit and the damn fault is still there.
The fault seems to come and go but actually seems better with the cam sensor unplugged
