Hi,
I have had this transit in and it,s been a nightmare.
First it was in as an non runner and I diagnosed low pressure pump in high pressure pump, due to costs the customer opted for second hand pump which we fitted with new timing chain kit.
It started after fitment but it was running rough and fuel pressure was erratic, so did leak off test on injectors then sent for tested which all were faulty, Had all injectors reconed and refitted and reprogrammed.
Van would not start after refitting but found fault with crank sensor fitted new one then started first time.
Now it runs and fuel pressure is steady and have good pressure on full boost. Turbo waste gate is working and vacuum solenoid also same with EGR, But I still have a slight miss at 2500 rpm and it blue smokes.
I,m Going to scope cam and crank tomorrow and see weather timing is correct.
Any advice please.
P.s No fault codes now. I have done a compression test but only with pico scope (no diesel compression kit, but got one on order)
