Paul, i would check the live data with engine off key on and look to see what the Map sensor is doing, i had the same problem on my wifes car and the Map was reading high with engine off, you will need to compare it against the barometric pressure, quite a common fault on this model if you do a bit of googling. the only trouble with googling is sifting through a million pages of crap to get to the golden nugget
as Mark says in his post " confirm the control side of things"
I don't post very often on this site , because you can normally find the answer in the archives
