hi we have a customer who complains of long crank time when engine hot. engine starts fine cold.
code read engine with no fault codes logged. customer has had vehicle from new and he reckons it has been like this from practically the start. dealer never found anything and was not really interested.
loath to get involved as we had a similat issue with a 1.9 PD golf and although we re-newed injector seals / loom etc, it only improved when we fitted a new battery, but even then it was still a bit slow to start when hot.
any ideas would be appreciated
