I'm sure I've read on here something about clamping the return pipe and looking for the pressure drop.
I have a golf in that is producing white, toxic, eye burning smoke.
My thinking is fuel is entering the exhaust, either past the seals or low compression, although it seams to drive ok and a relative compression test was good.
I had a similar problem a while ago, customer had said he had already done the seals and it was the same.
