have just replaced the diesel timing belt on this van at 71k and wondered if someone can tell me how the timing belt lamp works.
The lamp comes on with ignition and goes out when started, which I assume is quite normal.Does it stay on when the belt needs doing?
If so how does it know when to come on?
As I've just replaced the belt I'd like to zero its memory (so that the lamp does'nt come on sometime soon!) Can someone help with the reset please?
