I've just had the same fault on a 2003 D22. I knew I had read something on here & even ordered the switch after only speaking to the customer on the phone. I found the job easier by removing the gear lever gaiter as you can't get a spanner on the switch from underneath. (part number 32006-23U6A, about £60+vat) Thankyou guys!
