The other day I had the power rails hooked up to my Pico for 45 minuits and the damn thing ran without a hitch! 
One other interesting fact. The rad fan sometimes comes on and off intermittantly even when the ignition is switched off. But again it rarely does it when I am looking!
(It is a "Weeping Angel" fault! It only does its thing when I am not looking at it!)
