Year of Manufacture *: 2008
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 M9R
( Optional ) ECU Type: Bosch
( Optional ) Scanner Used: dec/pico
( Optional) Fault Codes: p2293 and p0089
Vehicle has come from another garage as a non start. First garage fitted no.2 injector to cure misfire. 2 days later vehicle cut out and wouldn't restart. Recovery operator retrieved fault code for no.1 injector. Original garage had it back first suspecting fuel pump before it was transported to me.
Checked injectors first as all pipes and hoses were allready off.Injector no.1 open circuit so renewed but still non start. Will start with sniff. No rail pressure on cranking. Must also add that no fault codes were present when presented to me and low pressure codes p2293 and p0089 only appeared after attempting to tow vehicle.
If i seal rail(ball bearings in injector pipes!)i have good pressure build up to a constant 1.3 volts on rail sensor and if i disable pressure control pump delivers a healthy 4.5 volts with good pressure build up. If i remove ball bearings from injector pipes i only have a slight build up in pressure(0.7 volts)after long cranking at which point starter is getting hot. I have been told that these can be pigs to bleed.
Anybody had bleeding problems with these or any other issues that might be relevant.
