Will scope the signals when I get the injectors back and in.
I will road test it to see what driveability is like as well.
With regards to valve/piston contact anything is possible, new customer and new car to him. He did say though that it was ok when he first got it and the problem developed over a period of time.
Just wondering if I can clear the code with the engine running and see if it comes back immediately. I just felt that the engine was snatching and coughing so badly when cranking that the CKP code may have been a symptom and not a cause.
