well got car in yesterday only to discover it wasnt the DPF warning light on but the Mil light and spanner symbol light. so checked for fault codes in eobd P2002 DPF efficiency below threshold bank 1.
at this stage raised vehicle inspected the pipes as suggested by kevin and discovered one leading from front l/h side of dpf to sensor on a bracket in eng bay was split.so rang renault dealer for price and was horrified to be told £172 plus vat as it is supplied complete with sensor,so proceeded to cut off split section and spliced in new section of hose. then erased fault code told owner to try over next few weeks and report back hopefully fixed.
