Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0L FMBA
( Optional ) Scanner Used: DEC
( Optional) Fault Codes: None
Details as above, will just about start and run, with huge ammounts of white/grey exhaust smoke and hardly any throttle response, no codes logged, live data is confusing looking at injector offset values and fuel demand, fuel pressure actual more or less mirrors demanded with only a small deviation between the two.
Have removed and cleaned EGR and then blanked off to take it out of the equation, also have re-coded injectors with DEC, run off known good fuel supply to disregard bad fuel, the engine sounds mechanically noisy?, especially top end, not sure if this is cause or effect?
In addition it has a fluffy misfire, can't comp test it as my diesel comp test kit does not have right adaptors to fit glow plug threads, think this is going to have to be moved on to a specialist but annoyed with myself that I have hit a brick wall,
any help would be appreciated.
