The suction control valves are available for the pump at around £100. I have cured a similar model for similar symptoms by changing them in situ. With my vehicle I did have a reoccuring code relating to rail pressure.
I purchased the parts from TT Automotive in Loughborough after supplying them with numbers from the pump. Awkward to change.
You may be best to ensure you have no air in the system by running engine with see through hoses as the pump is obviously reliant on a bubble free supply to function properly.
