On this Astra blanking off the EGR made no difference and in live data it appeared ok.
Tested car as per TIS cannot find any thing out of place.
Very strange how the engine interprets its manifold pressure, if vehicle isn’t moving you cannot substitute a voltage into the Map sensor and get a sensible reading i.e. a voltage under 1.7 volts reads in live data 3bar, 1.8 volts (atmospheric pressure) to 2.2 reads ok, 2.3 volts 3bar very strange.
Wish I understood how this system works?
