Year of Manufacture *: 2008
Engine Size and Code *: 1.6 Tdci
( Optional ) Scanner Used: IDS
Firstly when I connect with IDS it doesn't recognise the Ecu as it normally does and asks for a calibration number which I am thinking is only on the Ecu casing, which isn't ideal at all as it's tucked away under the inner wing cover.
Only seems to ask for this on these PSA engines,
anyone know a way around this?
Secondly, when I try do a static regen it fails and says no comms with module, and if I try tell it I want to do a dynamic regen it asks me for a password before I can progress any further.
I haven't a clue what the password is and am lost as to why it requires one as it ain't a security issue regenerating a DPF.
All ideas and help appreciated.
