went back to this today. The voltage at the fuel press switch when cranking is 1.9v At tick over is 1.3v. The low pressure switch when running is 3.8v. Scoped the cam sensor at tickover. The sensor is switching very quick compared to others I have tested.. This will not start when hot and there is no output from cam sensor. Once cool will start. So, I have a intermittent fault with the low pressure pump (although ok today when tested) and a fault with cam sensor. Both these problems will, if replaced not cure the main fault which is cutting out at 1500 revs.I am all for repairing what you find but the customer has spent over £400 already and I would like to get it running OK before replacing these parts.Next job is scoping crank but working outside in the rain put paid to that for the moment. Thanks for reading regards Les
