Got this primera in from another local garage.
Symptoms: Whilst driving along the customer experienced an output of lots of black smoke, after this the car became gutless. No fault codes are present. Last garage fitted a new turbo - no different.
Have run various tests and have found low air mass readings and lower than expected boost presuure - while driving under load.
Engine appears a bit lumpy on tickover and just wondered if anyone has had the same fault or does anyone know if these suffer from the usual timing chain quality problem, it has done 96.000 miles.
