Would be worth an injector leak test, It may just be hovering around threshold and hot derv tipping it. In my experience the O rings fault is more consistent but no harm in looking.

Although always nice to prove a fault, with intermittent crank / cam sensor it is sometimes difficult to justify diagnostic time as opposed to substitution.
