This van is giving me a headache. Approximatly every 5 days the van will emit clouds of blue smoke. There is no loss of performance. The next time you start the van it is fine. There is no excess oil consumption so I believe it is smoke due to unburnt fuel. I've road tested the van numerous times and only had this actually happen to me once, when I let the engine idle it had a very slight misfire on one cylinder. Concesquently I had the injectors tested and replaced because they were down on values. After about 5 days it blue smokes again. I have the van back again hoping to get the smoke and see if with a heat gun I can identify which cylinder is misfiring. Basically I cannot think of anything that ccould cause blue smoke and a slight misfire on idle with no loss of performance or fault codes logged. Could an engine intermitently loose a compression? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
