This car as had this fault for some time and work done by another garage who fitted timing belt water pump differential pressure valve non genuine part/filter, same fault regen light comes on.I decided to get the original filter off the customer had it cleaned and refitted,changed engine oil low ash, removed egr and cleaned thought idle was slightly erratic, removed injectors had checked at our local diesel specialists tested ok.forced regeneration using clip ok for about 30 mls fault light comes back on. all live data seems to show ok. removed egr again just to be sure not sticking, rebuilt.
reset adaptions with kts light went off.Now run for 310 kms since last dpf replacement & 7 hrs since last regeneration. gave customer back yesterday she has done 30miles light come back on.dealer not much help have been told they have 4 or 5 on the go at the moment even their own vans they can't sort. wondered if anyone on here as come accross this before.thinking of going for a soft ware up grade to by-pass dpf, as genuine filter £900 and may not cure problem.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
