We have this 2.7 CDI A6 in with a single cylinder misfire between 1500 > 3500 RPM under load.
The misfire is most pronounced under hard acceleration & feels as though one cylinder has totally dropped out.

A leak off test at idle on individual injectors over approx 10 mins revealed 4 Injectors at 100ml & 2 @ 80ml - looks ok to me.
A cumulative leak off at idle from the pressure regulating valve as per w/shop manual was just within tolerance.

The injectors were scoped on volts & current & all look almost identical from idle to WOT & back to idle.

No DtC's logged & rail pressure within tolerance.

I have read these are prone to injector issues, could anyone confirm this - injectors are £440 + VAT each, the tech bulletin for this fault advises changing 6!!
